Stuff
I can’t talk about some heavy on the heart things right now. I’ve gotten some great advice from blog readers but am feeling a little overwhelmed on how to proceed on some things. When I get overwhelmed on how to handle things sometimes I just seem to do nothing so just some fun stuff tonight while I process what action to take with some of our issues I’ve posted about previously!
Adrian is really into singing his ABC’s and writing letters on the magna doodle. I’m very impressed with his handwriting. His speech is pretty distorted while singing his ABC’s but it’s definitely recognizable so I’m very proud of him. I also saw that he’s been writing his name on his school work but I haven’t been able to get him to do it for me here at home.
We’ve had a busy week of celebrating Halloween type stuff. We did Halloween drawings one night, made Halloween cupcakes another night, and carved Jack O Lanterns on another night. Some of my other household stuff seemed to go by the way side for all the fun stuff but I’m started to dig back out of the mess now. The kids had a blast but now they seem to think they need entertainment every night and I’m not up for every night activities. I did buy some Halloween cookie cutters to play with Playdoh with, I’m sure the kids will love that.
Sanura picked out a pumpkin costume, Adrian was going to be a cowboy but now I’m thinking I should get him a Spiderman one because I know he’ll like it better, Nevaeh will be a witch, and Lincoln a vampire. It’s forcasted to be pretty chilly on Halloween in our neck of the woods so I’ll have to think of how to keep the kids warm for trick or treating.

This is the first year that Jayce has understood the idea behind a costume and has actually asked to wear one. He’ll be Lego Robin (from Batman).

Jess-That’s exciting that he understands what’s going on this year! Adrian loves playing Lego Batman on the PSP, the Robin costume sounds cute. I’m sure you’ll post pictures on your blog, looking forward to seeing them!
Tammy- Thank you for commenting. I usually just feel inadequate in raising him so I appreciate the encouragement. God bless you Tammy!

Joy,
TC picked out a GI Joe and ended up wearing an old Superman costume. He was melted and poured into it, but he was happy!!
Next year I think I will buy him 2 new ones and let him pick!
I am glad Adrian is making progress. Have U read my blog lately? My new autism one is the one I linked to on here.
